چکیده

We verify numerically, in a rigorous way using interval arithmetic, that the Riemann hypothesis is true up to height 3 · 10 12 . That is, all zeroes β + i γ of zeta-function with 0 < ⩽ have = 1 / 2 Moreover, these are simple.

The “Riemann Hypothesis” is true for period polynomials of almost all newforms

*Correspondence: [email protected] 1Department of Mathematics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA 02139, USA Full list of author information is available at the end of the article Abstract The period polynomial rf (z) for a weight k ≥ 3 and level N newform f ∈ Sk (Γ0(N),χ ) is the generating function for special values of L(s, f ). The functional equation for L(s, f ) induces a f...

What if the Hereditarian Hypothesis Is True?

Rushton and Jensen (in press) review ten bodies of evidence to support their argument that the long-standing, worldwide Black-White average differences in cognitive ability are more plausibly explained by their “hereditarian” (50% genetic causation) theory than by “cultureonly” (0% genetic causation) theory. This commentary evaluates the relevance of their evidence, the overall strength of thei...

The Riemann Hypothesis

Associated to classical semi-simple groups and their maximal parabolics are genuine zeta functions. Naturally related to Riemann’s zeta and governed by symmetries, including that of Weyl, these zetas are expected to satisfy the Riemann hypothesis. For simplicity, G here denotes a classical semi-simple algebraic group defined over the field Q of rationals. With a fixed Borel, as usual, ∆0 stands...

The Riemann Hypothesis

with s = 12 + it, and shows that ξ(t) is an even entire function of t whose zeros have imaginary part between −i/2 and i/2. He further states, sketching a proof, that in the range between 0 and T the function ξ(t) has about (T/2π) log(T/2π) − T/2π zeros. Riemann then continues “Man findet nun in der That etwa so viel reelle Wurzeln innerhalb dieser Grenzen, und es ist sehr wahrscheinlich, dass ...

3.3 Solution to the Riemann Hypothesis

I present extensions to logic theory whose utilitarian application contains itself in the form of a developmental, logical framework determinant of all being, and then derive several applications thereof to areas of general quantum theory and pure mathematics, providing solutions to 2 longstanding relevant problems: P vs NP and the Riemann Hypothesis. Tractatus 1-demonstrandum AA. Objective rea...
